The Submarine Connection Between Singapore and Australia

The world is moving forward in their usage of the bandwidth and with the growing users the demand for bandwidth is increasing; also with the bandwidth increasing, new methods are being developed to meet the needs. It is said that in the future everything is going to get wireless the clouds are going to prevail and take over the storage. But hardly a few people know that the countries need to be connected together as well and the wireless technique is not useful for that purpose. Right there is the need for the cables. So how do a couple of countries get connected with a cable? It’s simple; the submarine cables are used for this purpose.
A new cable is all set to go underwater connecting Australia and Singapore. The cable is going to make a stop in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. The cable will fall in Perth, Australia and is going to have the astonishing capacity of up to 40Tbps. The construction is going to take another year and will reach the end in 2018. The company having this project underway is going to write the check of US$170m to get the job done. The Indonesian stop is important for the entire project because of the rising need of the data centers in the country. This cable is going to meet them as well on the way. This cable is said to be faster than other cables that are connecting Australia with other countries and expected revenue of $550m by the end of 2029 is expected after the completion of this project.
